"Find a job you like, and you will never work again!"
What does that quote mean?

To begin this unit you will conduct a variety of self test, or career interest surveys in order to determine what types of jobs you would be best suited for.
For each of these surveys, copy and paste your results into a word document, and save it for future reference. You may be asked for certain assignments to be submitted as part of your Work Packet.

Go to the Career Center and the click on take the Career Test, once complete take the Entrepreneur Test.

  • Complete the Career Test and Entreprenuer Test
  • Once you get your results copy and paste them into a word processing document for future reference.

Consider the results from all of the tests that you have taken. What kind of a person are you? Using the information form the surveys key in a word processing document which explains the following:
  • What are your interests based on the results of your tests?
  • What are three careers that would be suitable for you based on your results?. Describe each of these careers in your own words.
  • Do the results and the suggested careers fit with your actual career plans? Why or why not?
  • What did you learn about yourself through doing these surveys?
  • Your paper should be 1/2 page in length and answer each of the questions above.
  • Make sure that your copy is free of errors!
